Hailing from St. Augustine, Florida, this genre-spanning songwriter delivers performances with a southern voice, a touch of class and a wealth of hard-nosed grit. He has rocked the stages at the North Dakota State Fair, North Idaho State Fair, OM Fest, Rock the Leaves Music Festival, Minot RibFest, HagFest Northwest and Pig Out in the Park. Joey was team lead and producer for an original music series in Spokane Valley, WA named, "The Black Diamond Presents", which focused on lifting up local singer/songwriters. Moreover, he continues to support local songwriters as producer of "Live at the Bing" at The Bing Crosby Theater in Spokane, Washington and is the founder of the Inland Northwest SongFest. Joey is a member of the Northwest Country Music Association and the Nashville Songwriters Association International. He also performs with his lovely wife, Stevie Lynne (another award-winning artist in her own right), as the eclectic vocal duo, Jovie & The HoneyChuckle.
Joey self-produced/released The Lilac Night (2020), The Lilac Smile (2021) and The Lilac Stories (2022) on all major digital outlets. In 2023, he put out four singles ("Stay at Home," "Neon Crew," "Headstone" and Roots Run Deep) and will release more in 2024.
